Jessica Pepper
Senior Research Associate, PhD studentProfile
I am a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Psychology at 糖心vlog会员, funded by the Dunhill Medical Trust (PI: Dr Helen Nuttall). My research investigates the utility of neuromodulation in hearing healthcare.
As an ESRC-funded PhD student in the Neuroscience of Speech and Action laboratory, I conducted cognitive neuroscience research centred around multisensory integration and ageing. Specifically, I used techniques such as electroencephalography (EEG), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), accelerometry and psychophysical tasks to investigate how our brain processes visual and auditory information, how this changes as a function of healthy ageing, and the resulting impact on perception and action.
